Sally
VT Dog Rescue saves dogs from high kill shelters in the South and finds them loving homes.
Sally
At 2-3 years old, Sally has all the basics down. She walks like a dream on the leash (video below with a 6 year old leading her), is housebroken and crate trained. She has a laid back temperament and an easy going, super sweet personality. 💙
Sally has been living in a foster home with kids, other dogs, cats, chickens and even a peacock! She is negative for heartworm disease - just tested this month and already spayed. Sally is ready to greet you with lots of tail wags and smiling eyes.
She has the most unique fur and must be a combination of some diverse breeds. She has primarily black fur with the white stripe on her face and patches on her chest and feet. The white areas have black and brown spots throughout similar to a cattle dog. In addition Sally has random patches of brindle fur. She’s beautiful. ♥
We do not provide DNA testing which is the only way to know with certainty which breeds are in her genetic background. Our best guess is that she is a Lab mix. She's currently weights about 55 -60 lbs and we believe she is full grown, but we can't guarantee size at maturity.
We highly recommend training classes for all of our dogs to get everyone off to a great start. Training recommendations are available.
