Wish is 6-7 months old and built like a boxy Lab. She is solid & weighs about 48 lbs. She is crate trained, housebroken and travels well in the car. She has beautiful black fur with brown highlights - she glistens in the sun.

Wish is a sweet, gentle pup who is thoughtful and loves to be near her people. Her foster mom shared:

"She may be a bit slow to warm up, but it only took me one day and she was rolling in my lap for belly rubs and snuggles! Very smart girl who knows Sit and Wait! She walks AMAZING on a leash for her age and size. She may grow to be over 50 pounds, but this girl will never pull you over!"

Her current foster home includes free range chickens who she is not interested in chasing. Her ability to get along with a new cat will depend on how dog savvy the cat is. She enjoys socializing with other dogs and her ideal home will include a dog friend or a regular opportunity to interact with other dogs.

We do not provide DNA testing which is the only way to know with certainty which breeds are in her genetic background. Our best guess is she is a Lab mixed with Shepherd. We expect her to reach at least 55-60 lbs as an adult, but can not guarantee size at maturity.
