When he is not busy exploring (or eating), Rusty can be found snuggling with his teddy bear. This cuddly pup has handsome, symmetrical markings on his face and a unique pattern of spots on the rest of his body.

He loves to play with other dogs is curious - but respectful cats, and adores everyone he meets. This happy has a wonderful temperament and adorable personality.

His foster mom shared:

Rusty is smart, loving and playful. He is getting the hang of being in the crate at night and sleeping well. He is doing well with our cat.

We do not provide DNA testing which is the only way to know with certainty which breeds are in his genetic background. Our best guess is Australian Shepherd, Cattle Dog, Blue Heeler, and Beagle/Hound mix. We expect the him to reach 35-45 lbs as an adult, but we can not guarantee size at maturity. His mom has the appearance of a black Lab mix and weighs about 40 lbs.
