These puppies were surrendered to a high kill shelter in LA. They have been in foster care since they were about 4 weeks old and are thriving. The pups all get along well with other dogs, cats and kids. They are well socialized, friendly, curious and affectionate.
The pups are working on their housebreaking and crate training skills. They are at the right age now and will catch on quickly once they are in their new homes getting settled into a routine.
From Mars' foster mom :
Mars and his eight siblings were surrendered to a southern high kill shelter at only about 4 weeks of age. Since being transported to Vermont, Mars is now available for adoption through VT Dog Rescue!
Mars is quickly learning many new skills like sit and look! He loves to use his Kong ball toy for at least one meal to help keep his mind working. Mars is picking up house training quickly and will have it in no time with continued consistency and positive reinforcement. He is a champ in his crate over night and often sleeps the whole night without making a peep (unless he has to go out).
Mars would do best in a home with another dog that he can play and snuggle with! He loves to romp around with his foster fur siblings! Mars would also love a family who is pretty active and would take him on their adventures as he is a high energy little boy.
Once he has gotten out all that energy, Mars loves to cuddle with his humans and fur siblings.
Mars already weighs 20 lbs at 12 weeks so he's likely to be a big boy!
Mars would love to find his forever home and has so much love to give!
