Introducing Petey! This petite puppy makes friends everywhere he goes. A single pup abandoned at a high kill shelter, he was lonely and afraid. As soon as we offered rescue, he was able to move into a foster home in LA where he received lots of attention & love. He just arrived in VT and is in one of our local foster homes. Petey gets along well with other dogs, really enjoys being with people and has no interest in cats. His fur is a handsome mix of brown and black.

We do not provide DNA testing which is the only way to know with certainty which breeds are in Petey's genetic background. Our best guess is that he is a Lab mixed with a smaller breed dog.  He is just over 12 lbs at 4 months of age so we expect him to reach 30-40 lbs as an adult, but can not guarantee his size. Petey is crate trained and housebroken.
