Opal as surrendered at a high kill shelter near Jasper, AL.  She is 3-4 months old and has grown up in a loving foster home.   She is food motivated, playful, affectionate and well socialized.

She gets along well with other dogs and dog savvy cats. Opal visits doggy daycare a few days a week to play with friends, but overall has low energy much of the time. She is happy just to snuggle up with her person.

Her foster mom shared:
"Opal is playful but settles quickly. She is the best puppy ever in the crate - hardly ever makes a peep and never a mess. She keeps the crate clean. She is super sweet and an absolute dream of a dog."

We do not provide DNA testing which is the only way to know with certainty which breeds are mixed in Opal. Our best guess is a black Lab mixed with Shepherd.
