Kane & Kasper

Kane & Kasper are brothers coming to us from Florence, SC where their people posted an ad on Craigslist for free dogs.  One of our rescue partners saw the ad and contacted them to rescue all the pups. Sadly, most had already been picked up - only two were left. These two pups were born in a home which allowed their mom to nurse for the first few weeks of their lives. This is good because it strengthens their immune system among other things.  Their mom is a Rhodesian Ridgeback mix and is pictured below.

We think dad may have been a Bloodhound. The SC vet who examined them felt a small bump at the top of their heads indicative of Bloodhound being present somewhere in their genetic background. We do not offer DNA testing so this is our best guess.

Kasper weighs about 17 lbs at only 11 weeks old. We think he's likely to reach 50-55 lbs as an adult. Kane is a large puppy weighing 27 lbs at only 11 weeks of age. He's going be a large adult likely to reach 65-70 lbs. Both pups get along well playing with other dogs and have not had any interest in cats. They are playful & snuggly pups who are great companion dogs.

They are working on their leash skills and have just about perfected crate training and house breaking. Kane & Kasper are up to date on their vaccines and well socialized. The pups are looking forward to starting their new lives filled with love & adventure.

* Based on current veterinary recommendations, the pups have not been neutered due to their young age. We can provide a $75 rebate once the procedure is completed.

Our adoption fee is $375 which includes age appropriate vaccines (such as Distemper, Bordetella, Parvo, Rabies), worming, micro- chipping, and health exam. Discount vouchers for training, grooming and similar dog related products and services are provided.
