JosiePups

Calvin, Chester & Bentley

These 3 pups were found as strays living on the streets in Horry County, SC with their mom, Josie. Animal Control brought the family to the shelter where they remained until time was up.

The shelter is always crowded -  dogs are only given a short period of time to get out. When we were told this family had run out of time - we offered rescue.  The pups are named after famous Vermonters - Snowflake Bentley, Calvin Coolidge, and Chester Arthur.

The pups were still nursing from their mom when found, but they have been weaned and moved on to dry dog food. Their age is estimated to be 2-3 months old. They are up to date on their vaccines and have been regularly dewormed.

We do not provide DNA testing which is the only way to know with certainty which breeds are mixed in these adorable pups. By looking at mom and the three puppies, our thoughts include Shepherd,  Lab and Golden Retriever.

The pups are working on their crate training & house breaking skills and are at a great age to master them.  They should catch on easily once they get settled into their new home. They enjoy playing with other dogs and being with people. These pups have lots of love to share.

The pups:

  • Enjoy playing with other dogs
  • Up-to-date on vaccines
  • Like to spend time with people
  • Happy, friendly, affectionate
  • Snuggly, cuddly
  • Have NOT been neutered *

* Based on current veterinary recommendations,  these pups have not been neutered due to their young age. We do require proof of this procedure at a later date as part of the terms of our Adoption Agreement. Please discuss the correct time for this to be done with your veterinarian.  We can provide a $75 rebate once the procedure is completed.

Our adoption fee is $350 which includes age appropriate vaccines (such as Distemper, Bordetella, Parvo, Rabies), worming, micro- chipping, and health exam. Discount vouchers for training, grooming and similar dog related products and services are provided.
