Gems

Cash, Onyx, Pearl, Sapphire, Opal

These adorable puppies were surrendered at a high kill shelter near Jasper, AL. The owner carried them into the shelter in a blue plastic tote - with the cover on. They are about 3 months old and have grown up in a loving foster home.   They are playful, affectionate and well socialized.

The pups are working on their house and crate training skills. They are food motivated and will thrive in a variety of environments. They get along well with other dogs and dog savvy cats.

We do not provide DNA testing which is the only way to know with certainty which breeds are mixed in these pups. Our best guess is a black Lab mixed with Shepherd.. They are very lovable pups. Their foster mom has shared the following:

"Opal ..aka "BIG O" is full of energy, doesn't run to you, she runs at you & leaps onto you! She's a very happy, healthy, inquisitive puppy who loves to be patted on her belly.  Playful and confident pup."

Onyx

Onyx..is a love!! She is up for what ever..loves to have something in her mouth at all times. She will run to you to be in your lap if you are sitting down. Very sweet 3 month old Lab mix rescued from a high kill shelter in AL.

From her foster mom:

"We had a great day with Onyx! She slept through last night and hasn’t had an accident in the house yet (we’ve been pretty diligent about potty breaks). She loves to grab a toy and then climb into one of our laps. She knows Sit and Down. She makes us laugh… She’s very sweet and we are enjoying her very much. She’s eating well and weighs 22 pounds."

Onyx gets along well with other dogs, is well socialized and an all around happy-go-lucky pup.

"Cash is the most cuddly of all. He loves to play and get in the mix, but he's also very attentive to what's going on around him.  He is mellow, laid back and just wants to please his people. He is a sweetheart."
