Chewy is 4-5 months old and currently weighs about 30 lbs. Her coloring and markings are stunning. Without a DNA test, we can't be certain what breeds are mixed in her, but we do have the DNA results from one of her siblings. Please keep in mind, there can be more than one father involved in each litter.
From her foster parents:
Chewy is a very sweet girl. She loves to run around playing with her foster brothers, but also loves her nap time. She is more than able to keep up with any activity, but will gladly fall asleep once its done to rest up. She absolutely LOVES her people and jumps up on the couch to say hello and get a snuggle almost every time we sit down.
She is potty trained, but will occasionally nervous pee if something scares her, but that has almost completely gone away. She is usually ready for bed about 9:30-10:00 pm and sleeps in her kennel very well until somewhere between 6:00 and 7:00 am. She can be initially shy when meeting new people and new dogs, but she has warmed up quickly.
We think she would be absolutely fine with kids and other dogs, but would do best without any cats in the home. While she hasn't tried to hurt our cats, but she has a hard time leaving them alone if they are nearby. She can be a little overbearing when trying to engage them in play. She has been working on leash walking skills, and is coming along well. Chewy is not a fan of car rides. With patience, time, and positive reinforcement, this can become a happy experience for her.
Chewy has learned a few commands such as Sit, and she picks up on things pretty easily. I think she will be probably around 60-75 lbs as an adult. Her fur is growing in long and lie flat. She is going to have a really beautiful coat by the looks of it.
Chewy is a wonderful pup to be around, and would make a great addition to any family!
