Hi, My name is Melizza. I was brought to the shelter by the kind animal control officer. I was put in a kennel with another dog. I stayed there a few days then a nice lady and her kids took me to something called the Grateful Dog Festival. I got to see all kinds of people who loved my pretty blue eyes. Then afterwards they took me for ice cream. That tasted good. But then we had to go back to the shelter. I was sad. Then they said they would foster me until I found a new home. That made me happy.
So here I am hanging out with my foster family. They say I'm really good. I do get excited sometimes but I know what NO means. I don't chew and try not to dig. I get along great with my pack and I try very hard to listen to what people say to me. I sleep in my crate at night and I give really good kisses. I am already spayed and have all my shots. I've even been microchipped. I'm just waiting for an active person who wants to adopt a dog like me... one who likes to go for walks, jogs, hikes, and who enjoys swimming, running and playin. I hope they find me soon.
Melizza is a 10-11 month old Mountain Cur dog mix with stunning, bright blue eyes. She weighs 30 lbs, is housebroken, crate trained and working on her leash skills. She gets along great with other dogs and doesn't have any interest in cats.
Our adoption fees are $300 which cover spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccines (Distemper, Bordetella, Rabies), worming, general health exam, microchipping, discount vouchers for training, grooming and similar dog related products and services.
